Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across diverse settings. In this energetic role, you'll assist licensed physical therapists in implementing personalized treatment plans, helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life. Whether working in inpatient facilities, outpatient clinics, or home health environments, you'll be at the forefront of physiotherapy excellence. Responsibilities Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and executing individualized care plans for patients across inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings. Provide hands-on therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and physiotherapy modalities to promote healing and mobility. Monitor patient progress and document responses to treatments accurately, updating care plans as needed. Educate patients and their families on exercises, mobility strategies, and discharge planning to ensure continued progress outside of therapy sessions. Support discharge planning efforts by coordinating with healthcare teams to facilitate smooth transitions from hospital to home or other care facilities. Maintain thorough knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and orthopedics to deliver safe and effective care. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and uphold the highest standards of patient care while working in skilled nursing facilities, clinics, or home health environments. Experience Prior experience working in inpatient settings such as hospitals or skilled nursing facilities is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in outpatient therapy environments, including clinics specializing in orthopedics, geriatrics, or pediatrics. Hands-on experience with physiotherapy techniques like trigger point therapy and rehabilitative exercises. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and discharge planning processes. Familiarity with care plans tailored for diverse populations including pediatric and geriatric patients. Previous work experience in acute care or outpatient clinics that emphasize patient-centered care is advantageous. Strong understanding of home health practices and the unique needs associated with providing therapy outside traditional clinical settings.
