Come Join our Home Health Team! We are in search of a full time or part time PTA for Stark and Summit Counties! Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) specializing in Home Health services! In this vital role, you will work directly with patients in their homes, providing skilled therapy interventions that promote recovery, improve mobility, and enhance quality of life. Your expertise will help bridge the gap between clinical care and everyday living, empowering patients to regain independence and achieve their health goals. Responsibilities Deliver personalized physical therapy treatments to patients in their homes, following established care plans and physician orders Assist with patient assessments, progress documentation, and discharge planning to ensure optimal recovery outcomes Implement therapeutic techniques such as trigger point therapy, physiotherapy exercises, and mobility training tailored to each patient's needs Educate patients and caregivers on injury prevention, activity modifications, and home exercise programs to support ongoing wellness Collaborate closely with physical therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care across inpatient, outpatient, or skilled nursing settings Maintain accurate medical terminology records and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards Participate in ongoing training related to anatomy knowledge, physiology updates, and specialized therapies including orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and acute care Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practice Proven experience with inpatient facilities, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics or home health environments Skilled in trigger point therapy techniques for pain relief and muscle relaxation Ability to develop comprehensive care plans for diverse patient populations including pediatrics and geriatrics Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration Familiarity with discharge planning processes and outpatient therapy protocols Prior experience working with orthopedic cases or in acute care settings is highly desirable Embark on a fulfilling career where your skills directly impact patients' recovery journeys!
