Heritage Therapy provides high-quality physical, occupational, and speech therapies and rehabilitation at many of our communities.   • Job Overview:
  • Our facility located 15 minutes Southwest of Downtown Columbus is conveniently located off Route 62 and I-270.
The therapy staff and interdisciplinary team strive to create a comprehensive care plan that is unique to each short-term, outpatient, or long-term patient. We are committed to providing care so every resident can reach peak independence and functionality. Our dedicated therapy team has a proven track record of getting results! The therapy gym is spacious and equipped with all the tools that a therapist needs to provide the most effective treatment interventions.
  • Duties:
  • Support licensed Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct patient care, including assisting with therapeutic exercises and modalities.
  • Accurately and promptly document patient progress.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises.
  • Experience:
  • Previous experience or knowledge in hospital medicine, acute care, inpatient settings, clinics, geriatrics, orthopedics, occupational health, or hospital environments is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and physiology is beneficial.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while upholding high standards of patient care.
