Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care that helps residents improve mobility, strength, and functional independence! Key Responsibilities Provide skilled treatment interventions as outlined in the Physical Therapist's plan of care Accurately document patient progress using an electronic medical record system Monitor and report patient status changes to the supervising Physical Therapist Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and mobility tasks Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety techniques Maintain productivity expectations while delivering exceptional quality of care Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated services Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Active state PTA license CPR/BLS certification Valid driver's license and auto insurance Strong understanding of therapy techniques and documentation standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient-centered approach
Preferred:
