This position offers the opportunity to work closely with physical therapists, spine specialists, and rehabilitation staff in a modern outpatient spine practice focused on restoring function, reducing pain, and improving quality of life. No weekends No holidays Physician-led specialty spine practice Modern outpatient rehabilitation environment Collaborative multidisciplinary team Opportunity to work closely with spine surgeons and specialty providers Consistent outpatient schedule and excellent work-life balance Competitive compensation and benefits Responsibilities Assist physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretching, strengthening, and functional mobility activities Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising physical therapist Provide patient education regarding home exercise programs, posture, body mechanics, and recovery goals Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR Prepare treatment areas and assist with therapy equipment and modalities Support a positive, patient-centered rehabilitation environment Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and clinical staff to optimize patient outcomes Qualifications Active Ohio PTA license required Outpatient orthopedic, spine, sports medicine, or rehabilitation experience preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to motivate and engage patients throughout rehabilitation Strong organizational and multitasking abilities EMR experience preferred BLS certification preferred About Vertrae Vertrae is a comprehensive spine care practice dedicated to delivering advanced surgical and non-surgical treatment in a patient-centered outpatient environment.
