Job Description

We are looking for someone who is really looking to be apart of something great and exciting. We have a truly unique business structure that enables us to truly be a resource to our community. We are looking for an PTA that is ready to truly be a resource to our patients and our team.
Qualifications:
Must be a licensed physical therapy assistant in the state of Oklahoma. Have graduated from a 2 year college program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association. Must possess and maintain proof of current CPR training. Has had a minimum of two years working experience as a physical therapist assistant and has achieved a satisfactory grade on a proficiency examination conducted, approved, or sponsored by U.S. Public Health Service.
Report to:
Licensed Physical Therapist and Director of Nursing/Agency Supervisor Job Duties (include, but are not limited to the following): Under direct supervision of a licensed physical therapist, assists in ongoing evaluation of the patient referred to PT by physician. Implements rehabilitative treatment programs for patients according to the physician's orders and the plan of treatment established by the physical therapist. Coordinates treatment plans with other agency team members, and participates in staff meetings and case reviews. Maintains verbal and/or written communications among other personnel involved with care of patient; maintains clinical records on all patients referred to PT. Explains and instructs family in individual's treatment goals and program to insure carry-over in living arrangement. Make recommendations regarding adaptive equipment. Performs and submits required documentation of patient's clinical notes, progress reports, etc. Administers non-complex active and passive manual therapeutic exercise, therapeutic massage, traction, heat, light, cold, water, and electrical modalities to patients with realtively stable conditions. Complies with Homecare Agency Compliance Plan. Complies with Homecare Agency's Infection Control Policies. Complies with Homecare Agency's HIPAA Policies.
