Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), where you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their strength, mobility, and independence. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to implement personalized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and provide compassionate care. Duties Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and executing individualized treatment programs tailored to each patient's needs. Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities under supervision to promote healing and mobility. Monitor patient responses during therapy sessions, documenting progress and any changes in condition accurately. Educate patients and their families on home exercises, injury prevention strategies, and overall wellness practices. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment area to ensure optimal care delivery. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, updating patient records, and preparing treatment materials. Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care plans and ensure seamless service delivery. Requirements Valid licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in accordance with state regulations. Proven experience assisting in physical therapy or rehabilitation settings is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential. Strong knowledge of therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with team members. Ability to stand, walk, and assist patients through various physical activities for extended periods. Demonstrated attention to detail when documenting patient progress and maintaining records. Pay:
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
