Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant / Therapist to join our healthcare team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about patient care and interested in supporting chiropractic practitioners in delivering effective treatment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient service, assisting with clinical procedures, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. A strong foundation in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology is essential, along with experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in musculoskeletal health, orthopedics, geriatrics, and post-acute care. Responsibilities Assist chiropractors during patient examinations and treatment sessions, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Conduct patient intake assessments, gather medical histories, and document symptoms accurately. Support clinical procedures by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing equipment, and managing supplies efficiently. Provide patient education on post-treatment care, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery outcomes. Maintain detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate inpatient, outpatient, and sub-acute care services. Demonstrate knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to facilitate effective communication within the healthcare team. Uphold the highest standards of patient service and care quality while fostering a welcoming environment for diverse patient populations. Qualifications Prior experience in hospital or clinical settings with exposure to hospital medicine or outpatient care. Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to chiropractic therapy. Experience working with patients across various age groups including geriatrics and those requiring sub-acute or post-acute care. Knowledge of orthopedics, inpatient services, and hospital experience is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and education. Ability to work effectively within fast-paced healthcare environments while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience supporting acute care or hospital-based teams is an advantage but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates committed to learning. Pay:
$14.50 - $15.50 per hour
