Job Description

Job Summary 180 Physical Therapy is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. 180 PT has been providing care in the Erie area since 2009 and is independently owned and operated allowing us to focus on providing the highest quality of care available to our patients. We emphasize compassionate, individualized care and are searching for applicants who demonstrate kindness and caring along with a strong work ethic and initiative to learn. Our weekly schedule focuses on work-life balance by providing the staff with 2 half days and prioritizing one-on-one care with an average patient work load of 40 patients per week and no weekend hours. Very competitive benefits with reimbursement based on experience.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with licensed physical therapists to execute individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Provide compassionate patient care. Assist with therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques and modalities to reduce pain and enhance mobility/function. Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions under the supervision of the therapist, ensuring optimal outcomes. Support discharge planning by educating patients and caregivers on exercises, safety measures, and ongoing care strategies. Document patient responses and treatment details accurately and timely in compliance with healthcare regulations. Assist with daily clinic chores.
Skills :
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored to all patient populations. Experience working in outpatient setting and electronic record keeping. Proficient and compliant with billing practices. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
