Role:
We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at the St John Neumann Center for Rehab and Healthcare in Philadelphia, PA. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with our team of physical therapists to treat patients, provide education and training to patients and staff, and contribute to the overall success of our rehabilitation program.
Responsibilities:
Participate in direct patient care, ensuring adherence to state practice acts and reimbursement regulations Treat patients according to treatment plans, recording clinical documentation according to accepted regulatory and professional guidelines Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure patient-centered care Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, patient care conferences, and other meetings as required Demonstrate knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations Maintain productivity standards, attendance, and time management
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited college or university with a valid state license or eligibility to obtain license in the state where services are provided Possess a positive attitude and team-building approach with all patients, clients, and team members Consistently attend work and provide appropriate notice for scheduled paid time off Maintain productivity standard as determined by supervisor and clinical needs Demonstrate consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations How to
