Overview:

Sentara Therapy Center Edinburgh is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant in Chesapeake, Virginia. We are an outpatient, general orthopedics facility in a growing location with experienced staff. This is a is a Part-time, Day shift opportunity with great benefits. As a Physical Therapist Assistant with Sentara, you will administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist. May assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, and document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist. Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

Education:

Associate Level Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (Required), obtained in a CAPTE-accredited two-year associate degree program Holds a current

Physical Therapist Assistant Licensure Certification:

Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification American Heart Association (AHA) RQI American Heart Association (AHA) RQI American Heart Association (AHA)

RQI Work Experience:

At Least 2 years of experience is required
