Physical Therapist Assistant Golden Crest Centre - 2.7 North Providence, RI Job Details PRN | Per diem From $28 an hour 16 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Skilled nursing facility experience Inpatient Care documentation Outpatient Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant Orthopedics Medical terminology Therapy progress note documentation Full Job Description Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Per Diem / PRN Golden Crest Nursing Centre 100 Smithfield Road, North Providence, RI 02904 Job Type Per Diem / PRN (As Needed) Position Summary Golden Crest Nursing Centre is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house subacute rehabilitation team on a Per Diem / PRN basis. Under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will provide skilled physical therapy treatments to residents in our skilled nursing and subacute rehabilitation facility, helping them improve mobility, strength, function, and overall quality of life. Responsibilities Provide physical therapy treatments as established by the supervising Physical Therapist. Assist residents in achieving rehabilitation goals related to mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional independence. Monitor resident responses to treatment and communicate progress or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist. Accurately document treatment sessions and resident progress in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with nursing staff, rehabilitation team members, physicians, residents, and families. Participate in interdisciplinary care planning meetings as needed. Maintain compliance with all federal, state, facility, and professional standards.
Qualifications Required:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current Rhode Island Physical Therapist Assistant License in good standing (Required). Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing and subacute rehabilitation setting. Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
Preferred:
Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or subacute rehabilitation. CPR certification. Schedule Per Diem / PRN As-needed coverage Flexible scheduling Weekend availability preferred #IND2

From $28.00 per hour
