Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in <

In this vital role, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to deliver high-quality rehabilitative care across skilled nursing facilities. Your expertise will help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and achieve their health goals through personalized therapy plans. Responsibilities Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Conduct therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, and assist with modalities to promote healing and mobility. Monitor patient progress, document responses to treatments, and communicate updates to the supervising therapist. Support discharge planning by preparing patients for transition to home or other care settings through education and exercise routines. Ensure patient safety during therapy sessions by adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organized treatment environment. Participate in patient care activities across multiple settings including outpatient clinics, inpatient units, skilled nursing facilities, and home health visits. Maintain accurate medical terminology records and update care plans based on patient progress and therapist directives. Skills Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology essential for effective patient care. Experience with physiotherapy techniques including trigger point therapy and other manual therapies. Proven ability to work in inpatient settings, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, or home health environments. Familiarity with discharge planning processes and acute care procedures. Skilled in developing and following individualized care plans for diverse populations such as geriatrics and pediatrics. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and educate patients on their treatment routines. $1,837.00 - $1,937.00 per week
