In this role, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to deliver high-quality rehabilitative care for outpatient clinics. Your proactive approach and compassionate patient care will help facilitate smooth recoveries, promote mobility, and enhance quality of life for a wide range of patients. Responsibilities Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Provide hands-on therapy interventions such as trigger point therapy, therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to improve mobility and reduce pain. Monitor patient progress, document treatment responses accurately, and communicate updates to the healthcare team. Support discharge planning by educating patients and caregivers on exercises, safety measures, and ongoing care strategies. Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment while adhering to all healthcare regulations and safety protocols. Participate in patient assessments involving physiology knowledge, anatomy understanding, and medical terminology to ensure precise treatment delivery. Engage in continuous learning about physiotherapy advancements in areas like orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, outpatient care, and inpatient services. Skills Proven experience with physiotherapy techniques including trigger point therapy and other manual therapy methods. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and rehabilitation principles. Experience working in inpatient settings such as skilled nursing facilities or acute care units. Familiarity with outpatient clinic procedures and home health environments. Ability to develop comprehensive care plans for diverse populations including geriatrics and pediatrics. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to support recovery journeys. Skilled in discharge planning processes to ensure seamless transitions from treatment to home or other care settings.
