Overview Physical Therapy Assistant•LTAC Belle Fourche, South Dakota, United States This travel, temporary assignment for a Physical Therapy Assistant starts on July 6, 2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,369 to $1,454 with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shift is Days in a long-term care setting (LTC•Nursing Home). This position supports a licensed physical therapy team in a high-need, post-acute environment.

Long-term care facility / LTAC environment•Employment type: Travel•Temporary Assignment Responsibilities Assist licensed physical therapists in patient evaluations and therapy sessions within a LTAC/long-term care setting. Implement and document therapeutic interventions (range of motion, therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, strength, functional mobility). Monitor patient progress, collect data, and communicate changes to the PT plan of care. Assist with patient positioning, transfers, and activities of daily living as directed, ensuring safety and infection control practices. Collaborate with the PT team and nursing staff to support care plans and participate in daily rounds and care coordination. Requirements Active Physical Therapy Assistant license (or eligible for licensure) in the United States. Ability to work an all-days schedule in a LTAC/long-term care setting. Availability to commit to a 13-week travel assignment starting on 07/06/2026. Strong teamwork and communication skills; ability to document clearly and adhere to care plans. Familiarity with standard PT documentation, safety protocols, and patient safety practices.
