Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy Department
PHYSICAL THERAPY
Position Category Faculty Job Description The Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Lincoln Memorial University - located in Knoxville, Tennessee - is searching for a full-time core faculty member who will contribute to the Programs research, teaching, and service missions. The ideal applicant will be pursuing a scholarly agenda, have college and/or clinical teaching, and demonstrate evidence of professional service. Rank commensurate with credentials and experience. Salary and start-up support are negotiable. Required Qualifications Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree (DPT) or
BSPT/MSPT
with academic doctorate Current licensure as a physical therapist in the state of Tennessee, or eligible to obtain licensure prior to initiating teaching duties At least 3 years of clinical experience as a physical therapist Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a clinical setting or at the college level Strong organizational skills and interpersonal skills Demonstrated commitment to cultural diversity, equity, and inclusion Strong commitment to student learning and success Ability to work independently, but demonstrated ability to collaborate with an interprofession Preferred Qualifications Academic doctorate (PhD, Ed.

D. ScD, DHSc, etc.) in relevant field. ABD will be considered.
