Responsibilities Supports Physical Therapists in providing treatments to help patients recover from injuries, improve mobility, and manage physical disabilities. Works under the direction and supervision of a licensed PT, implementing prescribed treatment plans and monitoring patient progress. Texas Physical Therapy Practice Acts and Rules Qualifications Job Requirements:

Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program. Texas state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

Previous acute care, rehab, or outpatient experience.
