BSA Hospital is a 445-bed hospital serving the Amarillo area for over 120 years and continues to be Amarillo's preferred healthcare provider. At BSA, the focus is to provide quality healthcare in Christian love, service, and dignity. Responsibilities Supports Physical Therapists in providing treatments to help patients recover from injuries, improve mobility, and manage physical disabilities. Works under the direction and supervision of a licensed PT, implementing prescribed treatment plans and monitoring patient progress. Provide and document patient care Provide and document physical therapy treatment to patients Supervise assigned staff Interact and practice in collaboration with other professionals Individuals must comply with theTexas Physical Therapy Practice Acts and Rules Qualifications Job Requirements:
Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program. Texas state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.Preferred Job Requirements:
