In this role, you will work under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists to help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall function and quality of life. The ideal candidate is hands-on, patient-focused, and comfortable working with diverse patient populations across outpatient, orthopedic, geriatric, pediatric, home health, skilled nursing, or acute care settings. This is an excellent opportunity to grow professionally in a supportive and collaborative clinical environment. Responsibilities Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, balance activities, and functional rehabilitation treatments. Perform manual therapy techniques, including soft tissue mobilization and trigger point therapy, as directed by the supervising therapist. Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition or treatment response to the Physical Therapist. Accurately document patient treatments, progress notes, and outcomes in electronic medical records (EMR). Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, posture, and body mechanics. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment while following all infection control and safety protocols. Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care. Assist with discharge planning and transition of care recommendations. Qualifications Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Previous experience in outpatient Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and rehabilitation techniques. Experience with manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient mobility training preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. CPR/BLS certification preferred.
