In-House Subacute Rehabilitation Center Job Description:

Coral Rehabilitation & Nursing of Austin is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house subacute rehabilitation team. In this role, you will work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to deliver high-quality rehabilitative care that helps patients regain mobility, improve strength, and achieve greater functional independence.

Responsibilities:

Implement treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility assistance Monitor, document, and report patient progress accurately and timely Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members Educate patients and families on exercises and care plans Maintain a safe, supportive, and therapeutic rehabilitation environment

Qualifications:

Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current Texas PTA license (or eligibility to obtain) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Experience in subacute or skilled nursing setting preferred, but not required
