In this role, you will assist physical therapists in providing high-quality care to patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Responsibilities Assist physical therapists with patient treatment plans and exercises. Prepare treatment areas by ensuring equipment is clean, organized, and ready for use. Help patients with mobility and positioning during therapy sessions. Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment sessions. Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures. Support administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient files. Skills Strong understanding of medical terminology to facilitate effective communication within the healthcare team. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and hospital medicine to assist in patient care effectively. Experience or familiarity with outpatient clinic environments is a plus. Ability to provide excellent patient service while maintaining a compassionate demeanor. Familiarity with inpatient care settings is beneficial but not required. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping. Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and staff.
