Monday-Friday, clinic hours; exact schedule to be discussed About the Role We are seeking a motivated and dependable Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team in El Paso, TX. The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient clinical setting. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, professional, and comfortable working with patients of all ages and mobility levels. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys helping patients improve function, reduce pain, and work toward their rehabilitation goals. Responsibilities Provide physical therapy treatments according to the plan of care established by the supervising Physical Therapist Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, functional mobility, gait training, balance activities, and other treatment interventions Monitor patient tolerance, progress, and response to treatment Document treatment sessions accurately and timely in the EMR system Communicate patient progress, concerns, and changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist Educate patients on exercises, safety, body mechanics, and home program instructions as directed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment Assist with clinic flow and patient transitions as needed Follow all company policies, compliance requirements, and professional standards of care Qualifications Current Texas Physical Therapist Assistant license, or eligibility to obtain Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program CPR/BLS certification preferred Outpatient, orthopedic, pain management, or rehabilitation experience preferred Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required Strong communication and documentation skills Reliable, professional, and team-oriented Ability to work well with patients, providers, and clinic staff
Pay:
$26.31 - $40.00 per hour
