In this energetic position, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to implement personalized care plans across various settings, including inpatient facilities, outpatient clinics, home health, and skilled nursing environments. Your expertise in physiotherapy techniques and patient care will directly contribute to positive patient outcomes and a supportive healing environment. Duties Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and executing individualized treatment plans for diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, and post-surgical cases Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, and modalities to promote healing and mobility Monitor patient progress, document responses to treatments, and communicate updates to the supervising therapist for ongoing care adjustments Support discharge planning by preparing patients for continued therapy at home or in outpatient settings Educate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques, injury prevention strategies, and post-treatment care instructions Maintain accurate medical terminology documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care across inpatient, outpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing facility environments Requirements Must hold active Texas License as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Proven experience in physical therapy or related healthcare settings such as inpatient facilities, outpatient clinics, or skilled nursing facilities Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and various therapeutic techniques including trigger point therapy Familiarity with care plans tailored for orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and rehabilitation needs in home health or outpatient contexts Strong understanding of discharge planning processes and patient education strategies Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments such as acute care or outpatient clinics while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills to collaborate with healthcare teams and support patient-centered care Join us to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through energetic engagement and expert physiotherapy support.
