Galveston Nursing & Rehabilitation is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to join an in-house therapy team where your work is centered on mobility, strength, and day-to-day function across the building. PTA:

Helping a resident stand again after a fall or hospitalization Supporting safe, confident transfers that reduce fall risk Walking alongside residents as they rebuild strength, balance, and endurance Keeping long-term residents mobile to prevent loss of independence Being part of progress that residents and families can see day to day What the work feels like here: Hands-on treatment throughout the day focused on mobility and function The ability to follow residents over time and see measurable progress Clear plans of care with ongoing communication with your PT A therapy team that stays aligned and keeps the day moving What you'll be doing: Carrying out treatment plans focused on gait, balance, transfers, and strengthening Adjusting treatments based on resident response and progress Communicating with your PT and interdisciplinary team Completing timely and accurate documentation What we're looking for: Active Texas PTA license Skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred Someone reliable, organized, and comfortable in a hands-on role Ability to manage a full treatment day and work as part of a team Learn more about us: www.galvestonnursing.com We are proud to be an EOE.
