The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and be dedicated to providing exceptional patient service. This role involves assessing patients' needs, delivering effective treatments, and contributing to their overall wellness journey in a supportive environment. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals. Provide a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, tailored to each patient's requirements. Implement pain management strategies through effective massage techniques and patient education. Maintain accurate records of treatments and progress, utilizing medical terminology appropriately. Schedule patients correctly and take payments Help carry out treatment plans that doctor prescribes. Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy and physiology to enhance treatment effectiveness and ensure patient safety. Deliver exceptional customer service, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all clients. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support occupational health initiatives and enhance patient outcomes. Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices, particularly within a med spa environment. Experience Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a strong focus on patient service and assessment skills. Proficiency in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques. Solid understanding of anatomy knowledge, physiology principles, and medical terminology. Previous experience in customer service roles is highly desirable. Experience working in an occupational health setting or med spa is a plus.
