Founded by physical therapists in 2000, Green Oaks Physical Therapy now has 17 locations and is still growing. We have an immediate need for a Part Time Physical Therapist Technician. We offer a flexible schedule, an open teamwork environment, mentorship, and growth opportunities. Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Physical Therapy Technician (PT Tech) to join our growing healthcare team in Grand Prairie, United States. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care by supporting our licensed Physical Therapists and contributing to a welcoming, efficient clinic environment. As a PT Tech, you will work collaboratively with our clinical team to ensure patients receive the highest standard of care while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized treatment facility.

Assist Physical Therapists with patient treatments and therapeutic exercises under direct clinical supervisionSet up treatment areas and prepare patients for therapy sessions, ensuring comfort and safetyClean, sanitize, and maintain all treatment equipment, therapy tables, and clinical spaces according to established protocolsPerform routine equipment maintenance, including hot pack machines, ultrasound devices, and other therapeutic equipmentSupport patients with exercises and mobility assistance as directed by the Physical TherapistManage administrative responsibilities, including patient scheduling, filing medical records, answering phones, and data entryOrder and maintain inventory of clinical supplies and equipment under the direction of the Clinic DirectorUphold all safety protocols, including equipment inspections, fire safety procedures, and infection control standardsMaintain strict confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations when handling patient informationContribute to a positive, inclusive clinic culture by supporting team members and fostering collaborative relationshipsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredProficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and basic database softwareCompetency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasksExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPhysical ability to lift, assist, and support patients safely; ability to stand for extended periodsReliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining professional standardsAbility to work efficiently and effectively in both autonomous and team-based environmentsDemonstrated empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skillsUnderstanding of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality requirements
Preferred:
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain certification
