Job Summary The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role includes implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and helping residents improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence. Responsibilities Provide skilled physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist Implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions Assist residents with exercises and activities designed to improve mobility, strength, balance, and endurance Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress to the supervising Physical Therapist Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques, safety measures, and home exercise programs Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with company policies and state and federal regulations Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehabilitation Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current Texas licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Skilled nursing facility (SNF) and/or long-term care experience preferred Knowledge of current physical therapy treatment practices Familiarity with Net Health electronic documentation system preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Benefits Flexible PRN scheduling Competitive pay based on experience Supportive team environment Opportunity to work with a collaborative interdisciplinary rehabilitation team Apply today and join the rehabilitation team at Town Hall Estates - Hillsboro!
