The chiropractic assistant position serves the clinic by assisting with front desk tasks, patient intake, assisting with therapy and treatment, and insurance verification. Performs all other essential job tasks to enable the clinic director to better manage their time and see more patients, thus ensuring the success of the practice. The hours vary by day, totaling approximately 30-35 hours per week over the course of a 4 day work week (Monday through Thursday). Every weekend is a three day weekend. Wage range starts at $15 and goes up based on experience. Chiropractic experience not required but working in a medical/clinical setting is recommended. The strong candidate will be task oriented, highly organized, self motivated, a team player, a "people person", and provide excellent customer/patient service! The office is located in West Plano and we aim to reach all the goals for our patients and office! Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus! Thank you for applying! The ideal candidate would have these skills: Friendly outgoing personality that enjoys interacting with patients and prospective patients Have some experience with EMR programs (electronic medical records) and be good with computers in general. We are a paperless office. Utilize support software to efficiently communicate with patients while still being able to perform front desk duties like checking patients in and out, collecting copayments, interacting and responding to doctors, attorneys, and patients. Well versed with medical insurance benefits and verifications Attention to detail and highly organized Engage and be with patients as they do their therapy Make good use of free time with keeping the office in order and preparing for the upcoming schedule Punctual and good with communication to employer
