Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Director of Rehab Services and Physical Therapist, to provide various methods of Physical Therapy according to patient treatment plan. To serve as a resource person for PT's, PT Assistants, and PT Aides.Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION
Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program.MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in Physical Therapy preferred.REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Eligible for or licensed by Texas Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Basic Life Support certification required through the American Heart Association or other pre-approved accredited certification program.REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care. Successful completion department specific and/or hospital required training courses. Must be able to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric.ABOUT OAKBEND
