Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in

Treatment Implementation:

Work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. This includes exercises, stretching, and hands-on therapy.

Patient Education:

Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, safety measures, and lifestyle modifications to aid recovery and improve quality of life.

Monitor Progress:

Evaluate and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

Equipment Maintenance:

Ensure that all therapy equipment is in good working order and assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment for therapy sessions.

Communication:

Serve as a crucial link between patients, their families, and the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication regarding treatment plans and patient status.

Minimum Education and Requirements:

Active License to practice

Education:

Must hold a valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license and certification. Current CPR Certification Valid driver's license Social Security card Recent TB Results Relevant experience preferred Must be 21 years of age or older strong motivation and commitment to delivering high quality-patient care Pay Depends on Experience and will be discussed with applicant at the time of the interview by employer.
