Physical Therapy Assistant Job Summary:

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to provide rehabilitation services to patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting patients with exercises, providing therapeutic treatments, documenting patient progress, and helping with administrative tasks.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients. 2. Help patients perform therapeutic exercises and activities. 3. Provide hands-on assistance with therapeutic techniques such as massage and stretching. 4. Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions. 5. Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities. 6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment. 7. Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and billing.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Associate's degree in physical therapy assisting or related field. 2. Certification or licensure as a physical therapy assistant. 3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 4. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. 5. Physical stamina and endurance to assist patients with exercises. 6. Attention to detail and organizational skills. 7.
