Job Description
Overview Circuit Physical Therapy is a privately-owned company searching for enthusiastic and team-player Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant(s) for our growing outpatient clinic. Under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will administer a variety of physical therapy treatments through the use of various exercise techniques and therapeutic procedures. Our patients include those with neurological, orthopedic, and balance disorders as well as cardiac cases and chronic injuries. Our current clinic hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. Compensation starts at $28-30 hourly, commensurate with experience. Responsibilities Implement treatment plans under the guidance of a Physical Therapist. Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients' strength, mobility, and function. Administer modalities, such as heat, cold, paraffin wax, and electrical stimulation, when appropriate. Educate patients on proper body mechanics and exercises for injury prevention. Document patient progress and maintain accurate records, including daily SOAP notes and flowsheets. Qualifications Valid certification or licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in accordance with state regulations. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required . Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology. Proficiency in manual therapy, therapeutic exercise techniques and modalities. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members. Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer skills.
