We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to implement treatment plans designed to improve patients' mobility and overall physical function. You will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our outpatient setting Responsibilities Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients. Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities to enhance patient mobility and strength. Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist. Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols and home exercise programs. Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes. Participate in discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition for patients post-treatment. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physical therapy techniques, including trigger point therapy, to optimize treatment outcomes. Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program. Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Strong knowledge of anatomy and physical therapy principles. Experience in acute care, geriatrics, home health, or inpatient settings is preferred. Familiarity with discharge planning processes is a plus. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members. Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism at all times.
