•This position is for licensed Physical Therapist Assistants.• We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a full time Physical Therapist Assistant at our RMC Logan location. At Rocky Mountain Care Transitional Rehabilitation Center, our residents come to us with many different needs—and we can help them all! We successfully and quickly treat a variety of conditions ranging from orthopedics, stroke, post-surgical, and other debilitating causes of weakness and neurological loss. Our Physical Therapist Assistant will join in our goal to help each resident restore their quality of life and get back to living their lives to the fullest extent possible. Our Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for the following: Counsel patients and their families on what to do following treatment. Observe the patients they are working with before, during and after therapy and report notes to the Physical Therapist. Assign specific exercises for the patient and help the patients do these exercises. Use devices, such as walkers, and other equipment to help patients regain movement and reduce pain. Use a variety of techniques, including stretching exercises and massage, to treat patients. Assist patients when moving to and from the therapy area Our Physical Therapist Assistant will help in our variety of services to provide our residents with a path to wellness and recovery in our beautiful Logan, Utah location.
