  • Promote health and wellness by providing effective physical therapy services under the supervision and direction of a licensed physical therapist in an outpatient orthopedic/sports medicine setting.
  • Confidently implement different manual therapy interventions for orthopedic conditions (ie, soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, IASTM, positional release, muscle energy techniques) as indicated per the physical therapist's plan of care.
  • Explain, demonstrate, and modify a wide variety of therapeutic exercises and activities to patients with the intent of improving movement, strength, and decreasing pain.
  • Assist with training/mentorship of aide staff regarding exercises, patient management, and callbacks.
  • Maintain organization of systems and workflow to streamline efficiency and continuity of care.
  • Keep up professional licensure requirements and seek learning opportunities for advancing patient care skill set.
Pay is compensatory to experience. Benefits are available. Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy License Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology Proficient in medical terminology and patient care techniques Experience in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing facilities Familiarity with discharge planning and care plans Skills in trigger point therapy and working with geriatric populations Ability to develop and implement effective physical therapy programs

From $28.00 per hour
