Minimum 1 year required About the Role We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a 6-week contract opportunity in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role supports patients in a skilled nursing and inpatient rehabilitation setting, helping improve mobility, strength, function, and overall quality of life under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Responsibilities Provide therapy treatments according to the Physical Therapist's plan of care Assist patients with mobility, exercises, gait training, and functional rehabilitation Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist Support safe patient transfers, positioning, and therapy participation Document therapy services accurately and collaborate with the rehab care team Requirements Active Utah Physical Therapy Assistant License Required Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy Assistant experience required Skilled Nursing Facility or inpatient rehab experience preferred Strong communication, patient care, and documentation skills required Must be available for day shift schedule and 6-week assignment Bring your PTA experience to a meaningful rehab opportunity where your patient-focused care and therapy support can help residents improve strength, mobility, and independence.
