LTAC within a skilled nursing facility Travel assignment Responsibilities Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, contributing to the plan of care for LTAC inpatients. Implement and progress therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, transfers, and mobility programs tailored to individual goals. Monitor patient responses, document progress, and communicate changes in status to the supervising PT and interdisciplinary team. Maintain patient safety during treatment, manage assistive devices, and uphold infection control and equipment safety standards. Complete timely charting and written or electronic documentation per facility and regulatory requirements. Support discharge planning, home exercise program instruction, and patient/ family education as appropriate. Requirements Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Utah or eligible for licensure. Graduation from an accredited PTA program (associate degree).Preferred:
PTA experience in LTAC or skilled nursing facility settings. Ability to commit to 36 hours per week with a day shift schedule. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary care environment.Benefits and Support Guaranteed hours:
