Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for an exciting Contract opportunity in Harrisonburg, VA. Responsibilities Implement prescribed therapy treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence. Document patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the supervising therapist. Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, treatment goals, and home exercise programs. Participate in interdisciplinary care planning to support optimal patient outcomes. Required Qualifications Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License required. Strong patient care, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. Preferred Qualifications Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred. BLS Certification preferred.
