Physical Therapist Assistant

Daily Responsibilities:

Provide skilled Physical Therapy services on an intermittent basis to clients in their homes under direction from the Physical Therapist. Assist in evaluation and development of a rehabilitative plan of care and in periodic re-evaluation as required. Develop discharge plans As directed, perform routine strengthening and therapeutic exercises and assists the client with the use of self-help devices. Observe and record activities and findings in the clinical record and reports to the PT and the physician the client's reaction to treatment and any changes in the client's condition. Evaluate the client, the client's significant other(s) and the home situation to determine what instruction will be required, what assistance will be available from the family in caring for the client, and what other agency and community services will be required.

Requirements:

Associate's Degree Licensed with the Virginia Board of Physical Therapy Must be a licensed driver. Ability to travel to all business locations. Ability to commute to our corporate location for supplies at least once per week and/or every other week for mandatory meetings Advantages of this

Gas Card & Vehicle Maintenance Required Experience/Skills:

Must be a graduate of an approved school giving a course of not less than two years for Physical Therapy Assistants. Must be licensed in Virginia as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Proof of current CPR. Current driver's license

Pay:

Up to $80,000.00 per year
