Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative services to patients. Your role will involve assisting with patient care, implementing treatment plans, and documenting progress.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating patients' conditions and developing individualized treatment plans
• Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the Physical Therapist
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient treatments and progress
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
• Provide support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Proficiency in various therapeutic techniques, including trigger point therapy
• Experience in occupational health and acute care settings is preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

Requirements:

• Valid license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple patients
