Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient team. This position provides coverage at our Reynolds outpatient center for orthopedic and concussion conditions. The Physical Therapist Assistant provides quality, comprehensive, patient-centered physical therapy services including administration of a treatment plan under the direction and supervision of the physical therapist, documentation and communication with team members, and supervision to non-licensed personnel. Instructs therapy support staff, students, other team members, and patient and/or caregivers.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience in outpatient rehabilitation preferred.
Education/Certifications:
Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant educational program required. Virginia licensure to practice or eligibility and application for licensure by the Physical Therapy Board of the Virginia State Board of Health Professions required. Healthcare professionals CPR certification required.
