Job Description

Part-time position- working, Monday, Tuesday (1/2 day), Thursday and Friday (1/2 day) Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Chiropractic Front Desk professional to join our healthcare team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while supporting clinical operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, familiarity with medical billing and coding, and a passion for delivering compassionate patient care. This paid position is essential in ensuring smooth clinic operations, accurate documentation, and a welcoming environment for all visitors. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify insurance coverage, Schedule appointments efficiently utilizing medical scheduling software Verify insurance benefits, perform insurance verification, and handle medical billing and collections with attention to detail Manage patient records accurately, review documentation for completeness, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations Assist with medical coding including CPT (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-9/10 (International Classification of Diseases), and ICD coding to support accurate billing and care plans Answer multi-line phone systems professionally, provide excellent patient service, and handle inquiries with clarity and courtesy Maintain organized filing of medical records, perform data entry tasks such as typing reports and updating health information management systems like Eaglesoft or Carestream Experience Prior clinic experience in a healthcare setting, preferably within chiropractic or dental offices Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks Strong knowledge of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and medical billing procedures including Medicare documentation review Experience with insurance verification processes and medical collection procedures Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and familiarity with dental or medical office management software like Dentrix or Eaglesoft Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality Join us in making a difference by providing exceptional administrative support that enhances patient experiences and supports clinical excellence.
