Why This PTA Role Is Different You Work Alongside Your PT, Not Behind Them. You will collaborate directly with your supervising PT to progress patients, adjust treatments, and drive outcomes , not just carry out tasks. Clinical Growth Is Built Into Your Day. What You'll Do as a PTA This is a hands-on clinical role where your work directly impacts outcomes .
You will:
Deliver high-quality treatment sessions under the direction of your supervising PT Progress patients through individualized exercise programs based on their plan of care Apply strength and conditioning principles to help patients return to full function Communicate clearly with patients so they understand their progress and next steps Document efficiently and accurately without it taking over your day Collaborate closely with your PT to ensure consistency and strong outcomes Support clinic flow while maintaining an excellent patient experience Take on supervisory responsibilities over time , creating a path toward leadership Clinic Setup and Schedule 30-minute treatment sessions Full-time schedule with consistent structure 8-hour shifts rotating between : 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM Lunch included in your day No on-call expectations This structure creates balance, predictability, and a manageable daily flow .
