Physical Therapy Assistant

Crescent Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking an in-house PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide direct patient care services under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist. The Physical Therapy Assistant will be responsible for documenting patient treatments, changes in condition, and other pertinent information as required. 312 Crescent Blvd, Bennington, VT 05201 90-bed Skilled Nursing Facility Crescent Manor is nestled in the rolling hills of southwestern Vermont. PTA Duties Include:

Provides skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist. Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referral to Registered Physical Therapist. Implements and modifies the patient's physical therapy plan of treatment with RPT supervision Measuring & recording Residents motor function, strength, and muscle performance Monitors patient responses to treatments and modifies them during treatment sessions as necessary. Observe residents and write progress reports.
