Chiropractic Rehab Assistant (CA)

Job functions during patient office hours Primary Duties Assist doctor with tasks to support rehabilitation therapy:

• Oversee the rehab room, assisting the doctor with spinal traction set ups and monitoring patient exercises
• Provide patient education on home care as directed by doctor
• Assist in transcription of doctor's notes, filing therapy documents as needed in office
• Manage computer files Maintain supplies, safe and clean treatment areas:
• Manage regular cleaning of rehab equipment
• Inspect rehab treatment room for broken equipment and other safety concerns Secondary Duties Provide backup for scheduling and telephone reception:
• Assist reception personnel with answering phones, check voicemail, and check email/text communications. This will include managing patient schedules, as well as screening calls and emails for the doctor
• Assist in supervision of the office dog and take him out on breaks as needed Job functions during non-patient office hours
• Maintain clean and sanitized office and treatment rooms. Perform weekly deep cleaning tasks
• Assist in transcription of doctor's notes, filing therapy documents as needed in office

$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
