Health In Motion Chiropractic is looking to fill the position of Receptionist/Administrative assistant! This position would require working our front desk in greeting patients, assisting with scheduling and payment, and answering phones. Other responsibilities may include, assisting in other departments depending on experience and desire. These other areas could include working with Veteran Affairs (VA), insurance, billing, or community outreach. Wage will reflect previous experience and willingness to assist in other areas. While flexible in staff scheduling, current structure is a rotating schedule with Mondays
- Fridays and every other Friday off, averaging 35 hours a week.
While prior experience is desired, it is not required! We are happy to provide training required for the position! We encourage all interested parties to submit an application for consideration.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients/visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk area
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments
- Maintain patient records and update medical information in the system
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth patient flow
- Provide exceptional customer service and address patient inquiries or concerns
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a front desk receptionist or in a similar administrative role
- Familiarity with medical office procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
