8 / 24/26 Carroll University seeks a Clinical or Tenure Track Assistant/Associate Professor for its Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Responsibilities of this 9 or 12-month appointment include teaching, scholarship, and service. Areas of clinical, teaching and/or scholarship expertise preferred, but not required include: neuroscience, exercise physiology, professional practice, or patient management skills. Candidates who have a documented record of teaching and service excellence, who are innovative and value a dynamic, integrated and comprehensive approach to physical therapy education, and who are seeking a vibrant, interdisciplinary working environment are encouraged to apply.

Candidate requirements:
Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Wisconsin as a physical therapist Clinical doctoral degree required. Minimum of 3 years professional clinical experience as a physical therapist.
Preferred Qualifications:
Terminal academic Degree (PhD, EdD, DPT, DSc, or equivalent) in an appropriate area of specialization. Postsecondary level teaching experience Specialized certifications
Rank and Salary:
Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications.
The Physical Therapy Program:
The Carroll University Physical Therapy program is a dynamic, integrated curriculum that values and encourages community involvement. It provides an on-campus pro bono clinic, multiple community outreach opportunities, and clinical education opportunities at the local, national, and international levels. The program is housed at the Carroll University Center for Graduate Studies, a 55,000 sq. ft. interdisciplinary graduate facility. This facility includes comprehensive teaching and state of the art laboratory spaces for both teaching and scholarly endeavors.
The College:
The College of Health Sciences offers undergraduate and graduate programs through seven departments- Athletic Training, Human Movement Sciences, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physician Assistant Studies, Physical Therapy and Public Health, accounting for ~60% of the University enrollment. The mission of the College of Health Science is to educate students to be innovative professionals who collaborate to serve the health needs of their communities. College foci include interprofessional education and practice, an integrated approach to health, innovative learning and healthcare technologies, community partnerships and service to medically underserved populations. The College supports the interdisciplinary nature of health science education and has received federal and private foundation grant awards to support these as well as program specific initiatives. The college has a strong staff of academic administrative and support staff personnel.
