Full-Time, Day Shift with Weekend & Holiday Rotations HealthWorks , in partnership with MonHealth , is seeking a full-time, West Virginia-licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our inpatient acute care team at our 188-bed hospital in Morgantown, WV. Immediate hire available. Previous acute care experience is preferred, but new graduate PTAs are encouraged to apply. You can start on a temporary WV PTA license. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, collaborative , multidisciplinary team and work with a dult and geriatric populations in a fast-paced acute care environment. Position Highlights Treat adult and geriatric patients in an inpatient acute care setting Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff Assist with patient evaluation, treatment implementation, and discharge planning Full-time role 40 hours per week Schedule Details Typical schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Weekend and holiday coverage required on a rotating basis The facility operates daily, excluding Christmas If you are a motivated PTA looking to develop your skills in acute care while working within a supportive, experienced team, we encourage you to apply. Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
