Job Description

Join an engaging role in an emergency and trauma department within a hospital setting. You'll handle diverse emergencies with the support of essential services, except cardiothoracic surgery and neurosurgery, in a facility equipped with a 10-bed department. This locum tenens position is available from June 15, 2026, and offers flexible scheduling within a supportive environment.

Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates Benefits Weekly direct deposit Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Supportive credentialing assistance Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable) Flexible scheduling Job Responsibilities Provide emergency care in a level 3 trauma department with 10 beds Conduct approximately 50 patient encounters per shift Collaborate with available support services, including laboratory, orthopedic surgery, and radiology Qualifications Must hold ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications Board certification is not required, but preferred in emergency medicine Experience in high-volume emergency settings is advantageous Working Hours Flexible, day shifts within the hospital Skills Proficient in emergency medical procedures and trauma care Capability to manage a high patient volume Strong communication and critical decision-making skills Comfort working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
