Job Description

Orthopedic Urgent Care - Physician Assistant, Auburn Alabama Full-Time | Competitive Pay + Production Incentives | Benefits Included About the Role We are opening a new orthopedic urgent care clinic and are seeking experienced Physician Assistants (PAs) to join us as founding clinical providers . This is a unique opportunity to help build a clinic from the ground up -not just see patients, but help shape workflows, procedures, and best practices from day one. Ideal candidates are clinically confident, efficient, and motivated by both autonomy and performance-based incentives. What You'll Do Evaluate and treat acute orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries , including: Sprains, strains, fractures Sports injuries Minor dislocations Work- and activity-related injuries Order and interpret plain film X-rays Perform and assist with basic orthopedic procedures , including: Splinting and casting Joint injections (as credentialed) Wound care and minor procedures Provide timely, accurate documentation in the EMR Educate patients on treatment plans, recovery expectations, and follow-up care Collaborate closely with supervising physicians and referral orthopedic groups Participate in the development of clinical protocols, SOPs, and workflows Help establish a culture of efficiency, professionalism, and excellent patient experience
Who We're Looking For Required:
Licensed Physician Assistant Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience Eligible for state licensure and credentialing Comfortable practicing with a high degree of autonomy Strong documentation and time-management skills
Preferred Experience:
Orthopedic, sports medicine, urgent care, or emergency medicine experience Experience with X-ray interpretation Prior urgent care or fast-paced clinical environment
