Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Physician Assistant - Certified to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality patient care across a variety of clinical settings, utilizing your expertise in medical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. Your proactive approach and clinical skills will contribute to improved patient outcomes, ensuring comprehensive care delivery in fast-paced environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team committed to excellence and innovation in healthcare. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs, medical histories, and symptom evaluation. Assist in diagnostic evaluation by ordering and interpreting laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures. Document patient encounters accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks (preferred); ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Skills Extensive experience with EMR systems including Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks (preferred) for efficient data management and patient record keeping. Previous Family Medicine experience is preferred. Strong understanding of medical coding (CPT, ICD-9/10) for billing and documentation purposes. Skilled in performing physical examinations, diagnostic evaluations, and medical procedures. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology essential for accurate patient assessment and treatment planning. Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
